Description
Program Overview
The 2026 Nebraska Wine Passport features two tiers designed to drive traffic to participating wineries and tasting rooms:
- Discovery Pass (Free for consumer) — The digital passport consumers know and love, now with a new name. Guests explore Nebraska wine country, earn points, and redeem rewards.
- Explorer Pass ($45 for consumer) — A new premium prepaid experience including a tasting of 3-4 wines plus a glass of wine at 5 unique participating locations.
Both programs run March 1 – December 31, 2026, with point redemption available through January 31, 2027.
What's New for 2026
- Explorer Pass — A value-driven option that positions NWGGA as the trusted guide to Nebraska wine country. Participating wineries receive $8 per redemption—that's customer acquisition revenue, not a discount.
- Geo-Location Check-Ins — No more PIN codes. Guests simply check in when they arrive. (Locations with connectivity issues can opt in to PIN check-ins instead.)
- Extended Redemption Window — Check-ins run through December 31; point and Wine Bucks redemption extends through January 31. That's a full month of built-in traffic during your slowest season.
